Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task assignments for the project team.
  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve project objectives, fostering collaboration, communication, and a positive work environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations & needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and develop solutions to minimize their impact on project deliverables, proactively addressing issues as they arise.
  • Monitor project, making adjustments as necessary to optimize project efficiency and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Track any deviations from the estimated budget, and provide regular updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure that all SRS quality assurance processes are followed so that the project meets established standards and exceeds client expectations.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders on progress, milestones, and any deviations from the plan.
  • Evaluate and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Lead the project closure process, ensuring all deliverables are met, lessons learned are documented, and stakeholders are satisfied.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead a team of skilled metal fabricators, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Coordinate daily project related tasks, prioritize project workloads, and assign project responsibilities effectively.
Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee the production process or assigned projects to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to verify adherence to specifications and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Department lead to implement corrective actions as needed to address any quality issues or deviations from standards.
Project Management:
  • Join forces with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
  • Manage provided work schedules and production plans to meet project deadlines while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Communicate project updates, progress, and potential obstacles to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in metal fabrication techniques, including but not limited to cutting, assembling, and welding materials.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to team members to resolve complex issues or challenges encountered during production that align with the Quality Standards set by SRS Fabrication.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing metal operations in addition to the Quality Standards set by SRS Fabrication.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, root cause analyses, and problem-solving activities to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Department Lead to identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost-saving initiatives within the metal fabrication department.
Team Collaboration:
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect among team members, encouraging open communication and constructive feedback.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added at company leadership discretion.
